BBQ Rib Recipe

Serves 6-8

2 large disposable roasting pans
4-6 large onions
4 racks of Baby back ribs
3-4 large bottles of BBQ sauce
1 cup of maple syrup
Gingerale
1-2 cans of beer

Heat oven to 375 degreed
Slice onions and lay all over the bottom of each roasting pan
Lay the racks of ribs in each roasting pan, 2 per pan, not layered.
Add salt, pepper and garlic powder all over the ribs
Pour ginger-ale and beer into the pan, covering the onions but barely covering the ribs. We want to steam the ribs!
Cover each roasting pan with tin foil and cook for 2 hrs.
Check the ribs, if they aren't almost falling off the bone or super tender, they aren't ready yet. Depending on the size they may need another 30-60 mins.

Mix your BBQ sauce and maple syrup. The maple syrup will add a crispy later when bbqing.

Once the ribs are cooked, take them out of the oven and let them rest for 10-15 mins.

Discard onions or add them to a frying pan, add some BBQ sauce and make some caramelized onions for the ribs!

Heat the BBQ, cover the ribs on both sides with lots of BBQ sauce and now slowly grill the ribs. Turn and baste, turn and baste, turn and baste!  You want to do this as much as you can until the BBQ sauce mixture is done.

Trust me, turn and baste as much as you can :).

Once the sauce is done and the ribs are nice and bbqed, you are ready to serve!  Enjoy
